THE MOST REV. IGNATIUS CHAMA ARCHBISHOP OF KASAMA

Born on 12th August 1957 at Mutono’s Village in Kawambwa in the Diocese of Mansa, Luapula Province. He was ordained to the Priesthood on 12th August 1984, for the Diocese of Mansa. On 17th July 2008 he was appointed Bishop of Mpika, and the Apostolic Nuncio to Zambia, Archbishop Nicola Girasoli, consecrated him on 28th September 2008. Installed Archbishop of Kasama on 28th April 2012.
